Asbestos ACT is led by Allan Graham, an asbestos management professional with more than 20 years' experience across nuclear, public sector and commercial environments.

Throughout his career Allan has progressed from surveying and analytical roles to senior technical leadership positions, supporting complex asbestos management programmes, quality assurance systems and governance frameworks.

Allan's expertise extends beyond consultancy work.

He currently:

• Serves on the BOHS Certificate of Competence (Asbestos) assessment panel
• Member of the FAAM Committee
• Member of the FAAM SC3 Technical Committee
• Member of the FAAM SC1 Committee
• Contributes to professional standards and competence development initiatives
• Supports research and innovation projects within the asbestos sector
• Contributes to qualification and competence framework development

These roles help ensure that his advice remains aligned with current industry thinking and emerging developments.

Allan has held senior technical leadership roles responsible for:

• Management of asbestos in complex, high hazard premises
• UKAS accredited laboratory operations
• Quality management systems
• Asbestos governance programmes
• Digital asbestos management systems
• Competence assurance arrangements
•  Large-scale asbestos data migration and asset management projects across complex estates

Throughout his career, Allan has helped organisations improve the way asbestos information is captured, reviewed, managed and reported. This has included supporting the design and implementation of digital survey capture tools, technical review workflows, sample management processes, asbestos registers and reporting systems. His focus has always been on ensuring that systems support compliance, governance, quality assurance and effective decision making.
